Drawing workshops for all ages & levels

Take part in our drawing workshops offered in conjunction with the temporary exhibition

Coup de Crayon on display at the MACM from 20 January to 2 April 2023.

The exhibition brings together 23 leading modern and contemporary artists taking us on a journey into the sentimental world of each artist.

Our drawing workshops will start with an introduction to the exhibition, focusing on a number of individual artworks and looking at the drawing techniques employed by the artist. Guided by Heidi, our education officer, who has a background in art, you will sketch one of the classical sculptures in our collection, just like the great artists of the 19^th and 20^th centuries present in our temporary exhibition. The best drawings will get to feature in our online exhibition Ready. Steady. Draw!

*All minors require a parent or guardian to attend the session.

For school holidays between 11 February and 4 March –

Children's sessions (6 years and over):

Wednesdays at 3 pm

Saturdays at 11 am and 3pm

– duration: 1.5 hours

– 5€ per child, 5€ per guardian

Adult sessions: every first Saturday of the month during the exhibition

4 March at 3 pm

1 April at 3 pm

– duration: 1.5 hours

– 10€ per person

Don’t miss out! A minimum of 5 participants is required for the workshops to take place. RESERVATION REQUIRED

This guided-workshop can be tailored to your needs. If you would like to do the workshop as well as visit the rest of the galleries at the MACM led by a guide, please contact us. All classes and year levels are welcome. We will be happy to assist you in organising your visit to the MACM for the dates and times that suit you.
