WEDNESDAY 14TH DECEMBER

We will welcome Hélène Bouillon, Egyptologist and Curator at the Louvre-Lens for a lecture on a subject that cannot be missed this year:
CHAMPOLLION, ON THE TRAIL OF HIEROGLYPHS
This lecture echoes the outstanding exhibition currently on show at the Louvre-Lens that marks the 200th anniversary of the deciphering of the hieroglyphs.

This series of monthly conferences (in French) takes place from October to June in the intimate setting of the Egyptian crypt. Each event ends in the friendly atmosphere of a drinks reception, an excellent opportunity for all participants to meet & continue to talk about the topic adressed in the conference.

This month's event will feature an open conversation with Stéphane Brasca, founder and managing editor of De l'air, the national photography magazine created in 2000. Stéphane Brasca is also a photo book editor, exhibition curator and photography consultant.
